“I want to inject some British wit and allure to American made design.”

A young maverick talent, Christopher Roy first caught the attention of the design press in New York at ICFF, 2012. Hailing from London, England, the British designer was initially drawn to his path by the work of Philippe Starck and Mark Newson. With a uniquely British point of view, his furniture collection at once celebrates the tradition of American furniture craft, in particular Amish design, while turning up on hits head.

Combining contrasting materials and color, Roy injects a refreshing sense of humor and inspiration to his work. Add in the deft execution, and the hand-made fabrication process, and you get pieces meant be a part of your world for a lifetime. His first collection comprising four limited-edition pieces was released during 2012′s ICFF, and he second edition of the collection was introduced to the New Black in Fall 2013.
